Understanding Multi Straddle Analysis

Multi Straddle Analysis visualizes open interest and price movements across multiple strikes simultaneously. It helps identify where market participation is strongest, showing bullish/bearish positioning patterns through OI buildup, OI change, and premium movements across different strike prices.

High Volume: Displays the highest traded volume strikes - shows most liquid options. High OI: Shows strikes with highest open interest - indicates positions with most conviction. Custom: Manually select specific strikes for targeted analysis of your preferred strike range.

The Multi Straddle OI chart shows open interest levels across selected strikes. Higher peaks indicate more positions at those strikes. Rising OI indicates fresh positioning (buildup), while declining OI shows position unwinding. Compare CE (Call - usually right side) and PE (Put - usually left side) patterns to gauge market bias.

OI Section: Shows open interest levels and changes - identifies positioning and trader conviction. Price Section: Shows option premiums (prices) across strikes with optional VWAP overlay - useful for identifying support/resistance and premium curves. Use section toggle to switch between views.

In Custom mode, manually enter specific strike prices you want to analyze. Useful for analyzing support/resistance levels, specific expiries, or creating custom analysis based on technical levels. You can analyze both CE and PE strikes or focus on specific sides based on your strategy.

Different intervals show different perspectives: 1-min/5-min for intraday scalping, 1-hour for swing positions, daily for longer-term buildup patterns. Lower intervals show noise but catch quick moves. Higher intervals filter noise and show structural trends.

Compare multiple strike levels rather than analyzing single strikes. Use High OI mode to identify key support/resistance levels. Monitor OI Change % for confirmation of moves. Correlate with underlying price levels. Watch for asymmetric OI patterns (more calls vs puts) for sentiment. Combine historical and live modes for pattern recognition.
